The 60 amp will charge your batteries slightly faster if you have enough batteries to charge at 60 amp. I have a 100 amp inverter but I only charge my four 12 volt SLA's at 20 amp. 

 

So I think what I'm trying to say is that it depends on a lot of things like what type and how many batteries you are trying to charge.
