CSolar
Hi - does anyone have experience using one of these? https://www.earthwiseproducts.co.uk/solic-200/ I would like to use this to divert excess PV energy to my geyser, which will be on a non-essential circuit. In addition, I plan on using my geyser wise controller to "top-up" to a minimum temperature when there isn't enough excess PV. Any flaws in this plan? CoCT has NRS 097-2-1? https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Forms, notices, tariffs and lists/Approved Photovoltaic (PV) Inverter List.pdf Other than that, my only concern is if the device were to go faulty and continue to export power when the grid is down for maintenance.
