SAIEE / IEEE - Webinars on Inverter Based Resources
Greetings to all Southern African folk with a professional interest in ( really) smart inverters 🙂 The IEEE / SAIEE Power&Energy people are looking to run a series of webinars on microgrids and IBRs, which i will drive. We need to surface the issues and advantages of inverter based resources, and the impact on the grid. Working with my IEEE and CIGRE colleagues. Also ESKOM and the AMEU. Also the SAIEE Load Research Chapter. If you have an interest in the techical detail please email me - [email protected] - we will start with a webinar on IEEE 1547 ( to be honest, this is kind of weird technical stuff so it may not suit every appetite - but its all absolutely critical ) - please see the attached 3-page PDF - The Case for IEEE 1547 and Family - A South African view The Case for IEEE 1547 and Family - RSA.pdf
