Thanks Achmat & Nexuss for your replies. I managed to increase the DOD setting through one of the battery setting screens. Its not that clear in the manual. The page that allows a lower setting, at first glance looks as if it only pertains to other batteries like AGM and not Lithium...so it pretty much got over-looked by me! Regards

Thanks Achmat for this info. I will check when I am home again. I think on this screen it also wont allow a lower setting than the 35%, but I will check and let you know if it worked. Regards

Hi Guys I have recently had a 5KW Sunsynk Hybrid installed with 2 x Pylon US3000C batteries. The system is operating flawlessly, except for some reason, the Inverter/BMS will not allow me to set a DOD lower than 35% ? whereas it should be able to go to 95% ? Any ideas? Thanks LD

Hi guys, I have a strong background in electronics, but pretty new to Lithium battery technology - especially BMS systems and CAN system link ups. I am about to set up a Sunsynk inverter system in a week or so - and an installer has suggested these Vision/Mecer Lithiums as a 10kW battery option - 4 x 12V 200Amp items in series. My question is - with the built in BMS system in the batteries - am I correct in understanding that there will be no physical BMS connecting data cable to the inverter - other than the charging / load cables? The inverter has a pretty decent BMS built in - but worried about how well the inverter can estimate the SOC of this battery bank? will it do so on the voltage/current flow alone? Thanks Lyndon
