Same issue with my Inverter SPF5000ES code 09 my supplier(SP-Energy) is collecting my inverter to take it in for repairs, they state that they have had quite a few of these systems failing and the faulty component has been Identified,something was not installed with the correct value, dont ask me what it is just glad that my supplier is collecting and its going to be repaired

    I second the recommendations from 87 Dream I started with a Growatt 3 Kw system and found out that I needed that little bit extra I now have the SPF5000ES 2 years later
  3. Hi Leonb I Just completed a 5 day Solar course, and the lecturers all stated that you stay away from Asbestos roofs

    Hi SIB W I am a newbie here but the manual for the Growatt SPF5000ES stipulates 200ah battery bank, you might need to have a look at that, I have this system in my house now for the last 7 months
  5. Hi De0n19 I have just done a drawing of my DB layout and yes I have now installed a second Neutral bar off the inverter neutral out and its all working fine now
  6. Thanks I will give this a go in the morning, I have it wired up as indicated just did not seperated essential load neutrals from mains neutral need to go get a neutral bar first

  8. Inverter Growatt SPF5000ES keeps tripping earth leakage cannot run it with mains on, but will run and power loads when mains is off, do I need to have a separate neutral bar for my essential circuits
