  1. I don't know what your Priority/Essential loads stack up to in terms of consumption but looks like you're only supplying them (from battery) with 3kW x 10% initially at 17h00 and then draw down to 90% for the 12-hour period from 17h00 to 05h00 the next morning, right? Are your loads drawing from the grid at all during this period, or not? Not sure what your consumption profile looks like also but for me my 2 consumption peaks are exactly during this 12-hour period: first at 19h00 for stove; and then at 05h00 for geyser, and so at 90% SoC I'd definitely be drawing from the grid to supplement supply to the loads...
  2. I'm really looking for more info on this, and went on YouTube the other day to search for anything by Keith Gough/SunSynk but couln't pick anything. Can you please share where you might have picked up this exciting piece of info? Thanks
  3. I recently installed the 8.8kW Sunsynk Inverter with a 10.2kW BSL BATT Powerwall battery, with 20 x 415W panels and a Geyserwise Controller Kit with 4 dedicated panels...The system's running pretty optimally at the moment and if there was anything I'd add at this point, it'd be another battery. @Nexuss' responses above are pretty much on point but from a personal user experience perspective, I'd suggest you upgrade to the 8kW Inverter and then add more panels... I run all my essential loads (incl stove in main house, swimming pool, stove in cottage, lights, fridges/freezers etc) using PV during the day directly just fine without any issues at all - that's just how great the SunSynk Inverter is at prioritising and managing loads (configured at installation of course). I'm peaking at about 6kWh during the day and it is only at night that my draw down on the battery is a bit aggressive. Thus for me, I'd invest in a second/parrel powerwall battery, but for your case, sounds like the above are first considerations...Upgrade Inverter and increase solar panels...
  4. Yeah...I had my firmware updated the other day/night. There's somer new functionality, most notably in System Mode where you set timer settings...now you have FROM, and TO fields for the times when you want the Inverter to control the battery...and System Mode menu is now split into WORK MODE 1, and WORK MODE 2...That's the biggest welcome update I have seen...
