Charging Luxpower tek with a generator
Hi, trying to charge my battery with my generator., prolonged power outage in PTA. I have a Royobi 2kva (1750w) inverter generator and a 5kva inverter with a 5.12kwh Dyness battery(trolley inverter) I have changed the current and start/end settings accordingly (soc) but when I plug the unit into the generator it sounds as if the generator is taking heavy strain, and it sounds as if the inverter is switching on and off continuesly. Do I perhaps need to change this setting as well? Or is the power generated by the generator not sufficient? Only the inverter is connected to the generator.

A other LuxPowerTek SNA5000
My previous issue related to the EPS voltage high error seems to have sorted itself out, haven't had an issue since 16/12. Thanks for all the replies. Being at home more I have noticed that the inverter switches on quite a few times an hour, like it is charging or something. It is only connecting to the grid, using it as a back up during loadshedding. You can hear the fans running and this continues for about 5 min at a time and then it is silent again. This happens whether we have loadshedding or not. I timed it for an hour earlier and it seems to happen every 20 minutes and runs for 5 minutes at time before switching of again. Is this normal or is it maby settings issues? Thanks!

LUXPOWER TEK Inverter EPS error
Hi, I recently got a 5kva LuxPowerTek inverter with a Dyness lit battery. You have an option to monitor the setup on an app. I got an error this morning, when loadshedding started it was unable to supply backup power. I restarted the inverter and then it was working afterwards. The inverter is not connected to the db board, it comes as a pre assembled trollie setup. I noticed on the app that I got the same errors since I got it and it seems to occur everytime loadshedding starts and when it switches over to supply backup power. Error EPS Voltage High. Can anyone maybe assist or advice. Thanks.
