  1. Hi Coulomb, It is definitely a Voltronic Infini (RCT version) but it is the Grid-tie version so the PCBs don't match those in the VM2 manual. I have attached the Label for your reference.
  2. Hello All, I have a set of 3 RCT IFS V2 Grid-Tie inverters set up in 3 phase, each with solar array and sharing Pylontech batteries. We just had a storm and there was an indirect strike outside, one inverter tripped, gave a red light and ERROR icon with 51 in the display. I shut it down and started it up again, as soon as the battery breaker is flipped it trips the batteries. The system has been installed for over a year now, we have been completely off-grid for 3 weeks, so Eskom is not/was not connected at the time. If anyone can point me in the right direction regarding repair, I can measure and replace as needed (The VM2 service manual does not help) or alternatively, is there anyone what can repair it or refer me to a reputable repair center. (Does Rectron do repairs ?) The inverter set is responsible for pumping our water, without it, we have no water...
  3. Unfortunately I also has a crappy experience with them. I had an inverter that was damaged by our Eskom transformer arching. It still made AC from DC but would not take Utility AC in. It didn't smell bad and there was no explosions or sparks from the inverter, I sent it to Capricasolar. They had it for a long time, then said the board was bad and they had to replace the main board at great cost. I was desperate, I paid, but they didn't take my deposit off so they owed me, it took about 3 months to get the money back. When I collected the unit, I asked for the old board back, they too a long time to retch it from the back, then wrapped it in lots of bubble wrap and gave it to me. When I was at home I looked at the board, it was not mine as ALL the power transistors were blown off the board and there was a lot of hacking and soldering on the board. They clearly took me for a ride. Now, 3 odd years later I have another RCT inverter to repair, but I will not go to them, any suggestions ? It got an indirect lightning spike (hit outside) gave Error 51 and the fault light. Not it trips the batteries if you connect the batteries.

  5. Hi Folks, I am at a loss. I have an existing Kodak OG Plus 5.48, new RCT IFS V2 5k-48v and a new Narada 48NPFac150. The Kodak wants to see battery before it starts so those two really don't like eachother. I want to use the RCT as a solar grid-tie, it supplies no load, the Kodak supples house load. I I was hoping the RCT will wake the battery, but the battery flashes the fault light and there is no connection. So, the question is: How do you activate the Narada battery. Both inverters have been set correctly with the Narada values....
