  1. Hi everyone, Has anyone on the forum had any luck reviving a Pylontech US3000C battery after a failed firmware upgrade? The unit is dead after reaching 83% with the correct firmware, I have used this firmware on plenty Pylontech 3000C batteries without any issues. I was trying to update from V1.4 to V2.6. I don't know through which distributor the battery was purchased originally and nobody is willing to assist from a supplier point of view if the unit was purchased elsewhere. I did e-mail Pylontech support but with no feedback as of yet. Thank you in advance.
  2. Good day to everyone, I hope this is the right page for my request. We are a solar installation company and as everyone knows the stock availability is extremely low in the country due to the huge demand. I am looking for 4.8 and 5.12kW batteries, we currently have back orders for Dyness and Shoto. Can anyone direct me to a reputable distributor (not reseller) who might have stock available? Thank you in advance.
  3. Is there anyone with some valueable information to share here?
  4. Good mornig. I have a client running a Mecer SOL-AX-8M 8kW inverter, paired with 8x 12 volt 200aH VRLA batteries, and 12x 430Watt solar panels. The system works generally well and has been used purely for backup purposes until recently when the client installed additional batteries and wanted to start using the inverter in a "solar first" approach to start saving on electricity. The issue is that when the output source priority is set to SUB (solar, utility, battery), and the sun is for example rising in the morning and the solar power is insufficient to carry the load, the batteries are supplementing what the solar doesn't, and not Utility. Every morning the batteries are charged full, but by the time the sun is effective enough to power the loads, the batteries are down to about 52.5V (70 - 80%). With the batteries being AGM, we want the cycles to remain to a minimum. Please advise if this is possible with this inverter. Thank you.

  6. To ask the Witbank municipality, would be like talking to a tree... except the tree won't have an attitude.. LOL. This department is literally on a second story, of which the balcony rails fell off years ago, with one person handling the entire city's meter applications and queries. They won't even know what an inverter is... 🤣
  7. Hi everyone, I have a site where I installed a Sunsynk 8kW unit but the conlog prepaid meter keeps tripping when using the none essential output. The CT coil is in the correct place and the inverter is reading it correctly. I have set the grid trickle feed to 50Watts and tried all the way to 1000Watts but the meter keeps tripping. I am on the Sunsynk SA whatsapp group but no real help there except everyone saying the meter might be too sensitive. I have now split the DB and using only the essential load output. Any advice with this Conlog meter please?
