HI all I'm new to the forum and am really learning a lot from all the info here. Great community participation. I have a very basic understanding of the core concepts, but not enough to do an install myself. I've been looking at getting a full solar solution but the budget does not permit. At first I thought of waiting till I've saved enough, but eishkom has been really unstable and having 2 toddlers is not fun when the power goes out. So based on my research thus far, I've decided on installing a Sunsynk 5Kw hybrid, and a Hubble am2 5.5kw battery. Never thought of going the hubble route, but reading this forum has definitely helped me make an informed choice. I'll be adding panels when I've saved enough, but for now, I just need to get this solution in. My problem right now is: - I need an installer who knows this setup well. Im in the Roodpoert Area in jhb. I've searched for an "installers" topic, but no luck. - I need to complete my online order for the inverter and battery, but not sure what other components I need. i.e, fuses, switches, wiring, etc. Then I need to wait for delivery of 3-5 days. - Christmas is fast approaching and everyone is gonna be going on leave, so I'm hoping to get this done before that, cause I know the eishkom guy is gonna have 1 too many and flip the wrong switch Any help/pointers appreciated.
