  1. I found 3 (Installed) RCD`s in a week that does not break the neutral conductor when it (test) trip or even when switched of manually. according to SANS 10142 the RCD should break both conductors in a single phase sistem. With power off and using the bell, the neutral does break. I found this problem in 3 different houses with all 3 have new installations. Should the neutral also break or should it stay on to ensure a connection toe the Eskom star point?
  2. no event logged. this is what is strange. I do not know where to look any further.. if i only had a fault code to work with
  3. I do not receive any error or warning codes. I suspected that the 18 x 550watt panels ( 9 panels per mppt: voc @ 450 volt) was to high and reduced the amount of panels but the problem remained the same when the battery reaches 100%. it seems like a protection mode that swithes of the inverter and after 2 sec switches back on. I do not know if the problem comes from n signal from the batteries or is it the inverter itself
  4. I installed a couple of sunsynk systems and only one of them seems to have a problem that i just cant fix. installation: 1 x 8kw single phase inverter (no grid) 2 x sunsynk batteries with comms connected 2 solar panel strings (550w x 9 panels on each string) problem: the inverter (or batteries) switches of for about 2 sec and switches on again by itself with no fault code. this only happens when the batteries are at 100%. it does not matter if the load is high or low. somtimes it happens like 3 times a day when batteries reach 100% and some days only once. i tried a couple of settings but nothing seems to solve this problem. any help would be appreciated.
  5. thank you appreciate
  6. the inverter is a couple of years old. use to work fine and just started with this error while almost no load and batt at +/- 70 SOH. i suspect that its due to component failure but cant see any defects on the pc board and don't really know what to test next. ac input = open circuit ac output = open circuit pv dc input = open circuit batt dc input = open circuit
  7. Goodday. I found a problem with a inverter where the LCD goes on and of repeatedly after connecting battery power to the inverter. If the output switch is switched of the LCD remains flickering. so in effect it gives no output no charge. there are no utility connected. battery is lithium 5.1 kw with about 60 % SOC. any help on what the problem might be will be appreciated
