  1. is all the lights green on your dongle ? else connect to the luxpower directly and see if it is communication (Local Connect)
  2. PeterG replied to PeterG's topic in Inverters
Update, I contacted the wrong support as I didnt buy the inverter from them. got hold of jaco.... we sorting the two headaches.
  3. Cool beans. You sorted then. It would be appreciated if you can put me in contact. We testing a system at work or trying to to run offices independently and that why i wanted and liked the luxpower interface.
  4. Is the 600W panel not 13A panels and the SNA is only a 11 amp unit? witch means you will be over on the recommended mmpt amps. Also assumin you are strining the panels not to go over 400V MANUAL RECCOMEND i THINK IT WAS 385V. THEM 600w OPEN VOLTAGE IS PRETTY HIGH. I posted a link if issues I am having with my one SNA - one being the "REMOTE MONOTIRING" that is actually not working its a local connect via WIFI, the remote monitoring only works if you have a installer code. So i am also not sure if you will see the fancy monitoring that you see in youtube videos, specially if you running them in parallel. Its currently my issues just take note.
  5. PeterG posted a topic in Inverters
So in Short I have a LuxPower SNA. It was chosen for a project at work actually one of the main reasons is the interface for monitoring - more than one client, we however wanted to use it in a large company with scattered offices then run the offices with individual inverters. yes there are others that do the same, but off the bat I liked the Client interface as a facilities manager. So the two issues I now have is the SNA looses and resets time for some reason. 2. TBH there is no remote monitoring on the client side, you need to be within WIFI distance of the unit, which is pretty stupid. We have contacted on a few different emails - ASPERGO (Andy) and LuxPower directly to see what the requirements are for an Installer code also explaining this is the project scope, . Unfortunately communication and feedback from both sides are at this point non existent. Is there LuxPower installers what can assist with 1. How to get and Installer code or alternate contact details ? 2. What the possible problem is with the unit forgetting its time. DATE is always correct. My test kit. LuxPower SNA Hubble AM2 X6 350W solar panels
  6. Ok Ill try and help. 1 - You did select LI battery on the inverter ? 2. the error is the battery is not communicating, had the same when I had no battery, with the inverter. Did you use a custom cable as described in the manual ? its not the standard battery cable (LAN) cable that comes with your battery. I got a luxpower with Hubble had a cable made up, pluggen in and no issue - on my hubble i run SOC and Voltage as Hubble is adamant on the 44V battry cutoff, this cant be set to SOC only. 3. Discharge setting must not be VOLT - off the top of my head there is a setting SOC BETTER i BELIEVE FOR THE li bms. THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF THE INVERTER AND BATTERY COMMUNICATE, just make sure your settings are as recommended by your battery manual. Your settings look fine to be set up as a UPS, i think try get the battery to communicate with the inverter, then test.
  7. Id guess having two string if there is a failure in one string you still have the second string to help out if its one string then you loose it all. I dont think either way is an issue.
