  1. Just checked my 12kW: SW Ver.:M 2005-1172 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E04F How does this correlate with the version scheme in your table?
  2. Brilliant! How on earth did you find this out? Do you work at Sunsynk or Deye?
  3. I agree, the process sucks, especially if you work online from home. We need backups for our backup.
  4. I upgraded my 3Phase 12kW inverter today. Old version: M 2005-1140 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E037 New version: M 2005-1148 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E043 There were no obvious changes to the user interface on the inverter. ---- Also, they said my data logger was already on the latest version, i.e. it hasn’t changed since I manually updated logger firmware in November 2022: Data Logger Hardware version: AEW2-0005-03 Data Logger Firmware version: 4790123B24R
  5. Most likely the latter. Manufacturer likely sends it to suppliers with latest FW but it may be standing in stock for a while before it gets to you. I doubt that shops/suppliers update the FW... Your installer may do so if they're diligent.
  6. Thanks @Bennie Troskie. Your inverter: 5k, 8k, 12k ?
  7. Perhaps you could get away with a firmware update on the dongles? I posted a while back how to do that - bit more technical than the inverter upgrade. Let me know if you need the details again.
  8. Interesting that you don't experience an outage during COMM upgrade. 🤷‍♂️ Also interested to hear about your off-grid experience. Is it by choice or is your setup in an area without grid supply? How do you manage during extended cloudy periods @Fred79?
  9. @Jan Blom Do you experience an outage when they upgrade your 12k software? From your statement above it seems you had uninterrupted power during the upgrade. I always experience a short (less than 5min) outage, specifically when the "C" part is upgraded. This time was no different. It's very annoying because you don't know when the upgrade will happen!
  10. @Tarryn AFAIK the official channel is via this form: https://www.sunsynk.org/up-grade But you can also email: [email protected] who is on the update team. They are the person (gender & name unknown) that supplied me with the firmware file for the data logger (attached earlier in this thread), which you have to upgrade manually. Be warned: inverter firmware upgrades, once requested, happen without notice and often result in a few minutes of downtime so plan it carefully and bear in mind that fanyj@ is 6 hours ahead of us. P.S. Please start a new post somewhere to show off your 18 inverter setup. We'd love to see some photos of them and your PV array! I assume this is a commercial not residential setup?
  11. @Milan188 Looking back at the fault codes it seems I've only had that alarm twice: July 20th & July 27 2022. I don't remember what happened at the time or what firmware was loaded. If it was something serious I'm sure I would have remembered the incident. You may as well request an upgrade. I'm currently running: COMM: 1001-E030 MCU: 1123-2005-1807
  12. @ZCS Not that I've noticed. Perhaps just bug-fixes. 🤷‍♂️ Glad to hear your upgrade worked. 👍
  13. No I don't think so. The support guy told me that data logger firm/software can't be upgraded remotely; that's why I asked them for the file. I'll ask again every now and then and will share any upgrade files in this thread.
  14. @Be4dawn You may be able to see it in your https://sunsynk.net/ account, under Equipment/Gateway. But this depends on the permissions your installer has given to you. Alternatively, use the PDF attached to connect directly to your Data Logger's Wifi AP, then browse to http://10.10.10.1/ where the version & other info will be displayed. That is also where you'll be able to do the upgrade. Data Logger Guide v5.pdf
  15. Same. Old: 4790122820R New: 4790122A12R
  16. You have a turbine? Nice. Please share details. Is it worth the purchase? Also, the latest upgrade (albeit for the 12kW not 5.5kW) does have Wind Turbine under Advanced. I've never noticed it before. 🤔 Anyway, perhaps try upgrading again rather than downgrading?
  17. I was able to upgrade my Wifi Data logger using the attached firmware file (provided by Deye support). Sunsynk/Deye are unable to upgrade that device remotely so you need to do it yourself by connecting to the Data Logger's Wifi Access Point, as described in the manual (also attached). For reference my Data Logger hardware version is: AEW2-0005-03 Check yours before upgrading and proceed at your own risk if it's not identical. This may or may not work for other hardware versions and/or the Ethernet data logger. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! (but do let us know if you brick your data logger, for education's sake 😉 ) 8257_8257_8257_8872B6(10-14-10-36-13).4f924060 Data Logger Guide v5.pdf
  18. My upgrade came through in two parts, a couple of hours apart. "C" updated first (as per my original post). Later "M" updated. Now I'm on: M 2005-1123 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E030 Note: When "M" updated the inverter provided no power for ~5min, i.e. internal load shedding 😆. This did not happen when "C" updated.
  19. Sunsynk 12k 3Phase, upgraded 2nd Nov 2022: M 2005-1115 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E030 Not sure why I have M 2005-1115 when @DG87 has M 2005-1121 from an earlier upgrade. Perhaps the suffix isn't sequential?
  20. SynSynk 12k 3 phase, lasted updated late July 2022. M 2005-1115 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E024
