  1. Good day, I believe I am also battling with a firmware issue between my 4 batteries. Is there someone from Dyness still on this group
  2. Good day, I am looking at replacing my RCT Axpert King 5KW. The options I am currently looking at is the RCT Infinisolar V4 5.6K Grid Tied inverter or the Luxpower SNA5000 WPV inverter. The RCT is more expensive. I am looking for a hybrid (uses solar and utility simultaneous) system that I can grow over time to go off grid and possibly supply back to grid. Which option would be best or any other suggestions?

  4. I got the problem resolved working with the supplier. The problem was the firmware on the inverter. I had to update the firmware and select LIC under battery type. Now the Dyness battery and inverter is communicating.
  5. @jumperThank you for the explanation. Helps a lot. Will play around with some settings. Just don't want to change settings that would effect the life expectancy of the battery.

  9. @mzezmanThe other options I have there is AGM, Flooded and PYLON. It is connected through the coms port with network cable that was supplied with battery.
  10. Hi, Can someone please help me with settings for an RCT-AXKING-5K48V inverter connected to a Dyness 4.8kWh. I believe my setting is correct as per the manual from Dyness but my problem is that on the Inverter screen the battery shows 100% but as soon as the utility drops my battery capacity drops to below 50% (Attached file 20220919.xls shows the data) On the Battery indicators it shows that it is full and does not go lower that 3 lights out of 5. Product Information Model Type: Stand alone Topology: Transformerless Main CPU Version: 00071.90 Secondary CPU Version: 00001.10 Parameter Set to Charger source priority: Utility and Solar Output source priority: Solar AC input range: UPS Battery type: User Max. Charging Current: 50 A Max. AC Charging current: 40A Back to charge voltage: 49.0V Back to discharge voltage: 54 Bulk charging voltage(C.V. voltage): 53.5V Float charging voltage: 52.5V Battery cut-off voltage: 47.5V I have attached the battery parameters from the manual. Assistance will be greatly appreciated. 20220919.xls
