Hi Leshen, the CT is less than 3 feet from the inverter. Thanks also guys for your input. I've emailed tech support in UK with the screen-shot. Despite the "Grid Trickle Feed" setting of 0W in System Mode/System2, their explanation is: "This is a trickle watt that needs to be taken from the grid to prevent any feedback to the grid. It acts as a buffer to prevent power to feedback to the grid".

Thank you and yes, that would be the solution if only I could achieve it - the fridge/freezer alone consumes 190W/hr. Guess I'm not ruthless enough yet.

Nope - as yet I don't know anyone in the UK that has A/C. I guess that may change in the future.

My installer in the UK called SunSynk tech support and they were stumped too. 🤔

Approx 450W/hr from 5pm to 8am plus about 1.5kW for the cooker. That's 8.25kW so it's touch and go if the batteries make it through the night using the 20% figure

Thanks Mzezman, the quoted DOD on these batteries is 100% according to https://www.sunsynk.org/lithium-batteries. However another supplier site quotes "6,000 cycles with 80% DOD". 'So I assume setting 20% will give me a safety margin and be ok.

Thanks Mzerman, The Grid Trickle Feed is set at zero. And I don't use a pre-paid meter.

Hi, could I have some advice please? In the example screen-shot below, while solar is sufficient to supply the AC load and charge the battery. the grid is also supplying an unnecessary 38W. Is there any way to prevent this? Thanks.

Sunsynk SSLB1 batteries - Max charge/discharge current?
Hi, please can I have your advice. I have 2 x 5k Sunsynk SSLB1 batteries along with 2 x 80 amp fuses. My inverter is the Sunsynk 8k (SG01LP1-EU). In the Battery Setup page, what is the maximum recommended current I can set for charge & discharge? For example, in the evenings I'd like the batteries to supply the load, eg cooker, kettle, etc without the grid kicking in. [On the battery spec I see the Voltage is 48V and the max charge/discharge(5 min) is 4,800W (per battery). The max charge/discharge current on the inverter is 190amps]. Thanks for your help.

Hi, please can I have some advice. I have 2 x 5k Sunsynk SSLB1 batteries that I'm using to power my AC load during evening and overnight. What's the lowest recommended percentage I can drain them to before letting the grid take over? And is this figure set in the System mode page - or the Battery Shutdown page? Thanks.
