  1. I've been using my Hybrid Solar system since we installed it in Aug 2020. The system includes a 5kW Phocos PSW-H Inverter with 12x400w panels and one Narada 48V LiFePO battery. I purchased ICC software then and have moved over to ICM 2 weeks back. I'm very happy with the software and can't imaging running my setup without it. Shortly after moving to ICM I connected a new Narada battery. I use my system as follows: By the end of the day my battery is fully charged. From midnight I switch to battery and this usually gets me through until after 6am with capacity to spare until the solar takes over. The load during those early morning hours are between 350 and 520watts, depending when the fridge/freezer turn on. My question is this: how accurate are the ICC/ICM battery usage readings and is my battery capacity correct? At 6am, my battery BMS read by ICM shows SOC 48.3%, with 52.6AH used. (This reading is consistent to those read by Narada's PC Software whenever I compare it. The Battery kWh used is 2.13 and total kWh used is 2.15kWh. According to Narada, this battery should provide 3.84kWh at 80% use (ie 20%SOC). For me, with my new battery of 13 cycles, if I continue to 20%SOC will provide the following: 2.15kWh/0.517=4.16kWh @ 100% discharge. This means I can only get 4.16*0.8=3.32kWh@80% discharge. I've contacted the supplier and according to the load test they done, the battery capacity is 4.53@90% discharge. The confusing thing is that based on 52.6AH used, according to the battery BMS, this equated to 52.6AHx48V=2.52kWh. I would expect this to should on the software. Maybe I'm missing something? Can anyone else check what they're getting using ICC/ICM with Narada or any other brand under similar setup?
  2. Hi WannabeSolarSparky. Looks like this is turning out to be a successful retrofit. I'm very interested to find out about this BMS, where you sourced it from and how much it cost you. The BMS of my Narada NPFC100 of 2 years has failed due to overload 2 weeks back. If I can get an alternate BMS then I'll consider it.
