  4. Thank you @Psy. I probably wasn’t clear enough. I will still use a PV termination box with SPD and DC Circuit Breaker for the incoming PV feed. My question is to do the parallel connections in the PV DB which will be located close to the inverter or at the solar panels with QC4 2:1 adapters? Im trying to avoid running 4 conductors from the PV array to the to the PV DB if possible. Pic of PV DB attached.
  5. Hi All I am planning a DIY install. It consists of 6 x JA Solar 545W panels. With 2 parallel strings of 3 in series. (Hope that makes sense 😀) I was hoping to use QC4 2 to 1 connectors/adaptors at the panels to bring the 2 series strings into the parallel string. Would this be advisable? Or do I need to run both series strings to a combiner box at the inverter where the parallel connection will be done? My preference would be to do the parallel connection at the PV panels if possible. Thanks
  6. That makes sense. Thank you
  7. It could be. Some of the DC specs is under the "Inverter AC Output". Below some of the specs from the manual. Its the S6000 model.
  8. Thanks for the advise.

  10. Made a mistake the inverter Max DC Input is 180 amps according to the datasheet. So I am now thinking 10 x 320wp panels 2 parallel strings of 5 series strings should do the trick. Hopefully I can find 320W panels.
  11. Hi All I have been browsing through this forum for the last month or so. Thank you for the wealth of knowledge. I have bought a Schneider Electric Homaya Pro S6000 inverter. What are the recommended panels to use with this inverter? Inverter Requirements : Panel Specs: I have been looking at the JA Solar JAM72S20-460, the problem I have is that if I add 5 panels in series I am 0.05 over max VoC and sitting at 2300 Watts which is 900 short of max Inverter input. Essentially not using total Inverter capacity. If I do create some Parallel strings The total amps will be out of spec as well. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks
