Thank you @Psy. I probably wasn’t clear enough. I will still use a PV termination box with SPD and DC Circuit Breaker for the incoming PV feed. My question is to do the parallel connections in the PV DB which will be located close to the inverter or at the solar panels with QC4 2:1 adapters?
Im trying to avoid running 4 conductors from the PV array to the to the PV DB if possible.

I would suggest 4 panels in series to give you some headroom to the max Voc. The voltage of the panels will increase in colder weather and that max Voc should never ever be touched.
