  1. You have the same firmware version as me and you can't read the second mppt. I tried both with the PI30 protocol and also with the MODBUS-RTU protocol but the data is not provided. A friend of mine who has the same inverter but with firmware updated with the MODBUS-RTU protocol with the command: 05 03 04 67 0C 0A 00 66 24 Returns: 5 3 4 index 4563 : PV Voltage 3175 4564 : PV Power 10 4565 : CRC
  2. That is, I have the same inverter with a single string of panels and it seems to work well in SBU but as the by-pass occurs and there is little sun or at dawn mppt is already activated at 50V and in this way absorbs about 4A / 5A from the battery with a maximum production of 50W :I drain the battery and have the BMS intervene or go into the cut-off. It is a very strange behavior. If in this situation I turn off the photovoltaic panels, the absorption from the battery is only 1.1A . It appears that in by-pass to make mppt work it needs about 200W / 300W from the battery. It makes no sense to produce 50W and waste 300W from the battery.
  3. Greetings to all. I have a slightly off topic question but I have not found any other better discussion to get a sensible answer. I have an SMG-II-5.6KW inverter (I think hardware voltronic) and I have built a control unit and I read the parameters from the inverter but to optimize the battery discharge at high currents I have to write an inverter parameter on average 2 - 5 times a day. I wanted to know if anyone knows which memory chips use these inverters to save the parameters. I would not like to degrade this chip with excessive scriptures. I have not opened my inverter to not lock the warranty since it has seals on the screws.
