  1. So more info. The 2 center cells was 0.1v precisely less when fully charged. I let the battery discharge with the fridge to 11.8v then put the charger on it (10Amp). 2 center cells look like a pillow now. So ja need a new battery...
  2. This battery is not working very hard. I would expect it to be fine? The charger is set to 14.4 volt and float at 13.6. I dont think it could be over charged as in normal operation the battery is almost never at 100% as its almost always hanging out around 13.2 - 13.4
  3. Hi all If you found this link its a good place to see the inside/build quality of the 100ah battery that I bought at a steel from Solarwarehouse.co.za I was wondering if anyone experienced this... I have a fridge running on the back of my car running of this battery. Its connected to a solar charger and 100w panel. I left the back open and a slither of sun hit the battery in an ambient of 40 deg. The fridge setup was running fine for a week until I noticed the bulge. From this point I obviously disconnected every thing and put the battery in a shaded place until I drove home with it from work. There I decided to open the battery and when I punctured the casing the amount of venting that happened caused some panic where I left the battery outside for a hour or so to see if the fire comes... Today I decided to cut it open and see what it looks like inside and I don't find anything major except a small amount of bulging between the cells? I am going to use the battery and see the performance in a controlled environment in the mean time to see what's up but its strange. Where did the gas come from? Cell voltage- 3.292v 3.277v 3.265v 3.292v Total 13.128v
  4. Hi My inverter is going off-grid intermittently and was wondering if anyone has any clues or could help me think in a direction that could cause this. Also there is no load shedding close to the event and I only noticed this as some automations were running way to frequent thinking that load shedding is starting as I use the off-grid state as a trigger. The pictures are from the logger that is tied directly into my home assistant. On the below pictures the Grid voltage spikes to exactly 1285 Volt and grid power is exactly 5898 Watt. This is strange for as each time it happens it is that value every time. If this value is true I cannot imagine that it will be good for the longevity of the inverter. The System; Deye 8kw inverter 2x shoto 5.12kw/h 16 450w panels
