  1. Hi guys, I have recently installed a Kwikot/ Electrolux 300l integrated heat pump which sits outside our bathroom area . It's heating capacity is 3.6kw but only draws around 900w of power from the solar system. I'm trying to ascertain if it is working as efficiently as advertised. At the current ambient temperatures in Johannesburg it increases the water temperature in the tank by about 4.5° C per hour. I'm told the in summer it would increase the water temperature by around 10° per hour. It seems that the heating capacity is so much lower during winter at around 20° C ambient temperature...can this be correct? I've got the heat pump on a timer from 12 midday to 3 pm, and measured these heating parameters without using any hot water. Any one have a similar set up?
  2. Thanks Ripley. Please see settings attached. Set on priority load and all on essentials which I manage ,(no non essentials). Average of 3kwh from grid per day, better in summer.
  3. Hi all, does anyone know why the supply/charge from PV and battery total would exceed load by some 25 to 30% particularly in the morning when SOC at around 40%? I have 5kwh Sunsync inverter and 10kwh Freedom Won battery. Regards, Mark

  5. Hi, I'm very new at this 🙂. I have a 5kwh Sunsync inverter and a 10kwh Freedom Won Lite Home 10/8 Life PO4 lithium battery. In terms of the voltage settings for the restart and switch off function on the inverter for the battery, what voltage should I set these on. On the battery spec it states "max/nom/min as 56v/42v/57v". Which voltage should I use for each setting plse, or does the battery's BMS automatically do this? Also, on the equalization voltage, should those be at zero for a lithium battery and zero for days and hour settings? My installer tells me that this battery's BMS sorts this out and I don't need to worry, please assist Thanks, Mark
