I thought I'd add to this thread rather than create a new one. What are the implications of setting the differential to 7 degrees versus 10 or even 15 degrees? Which setting would result in better heating?

The silver reset button isn't button you hold. It's like a toggle switch. One press on, one press off. DC switch is always off. Also, mosfet blew, no idea why.

Yesterday as loadshedding ended and power was restored, I noticed a strange smell from the inverter and it wouldn't output any AC when on battery. Error E02, even when there's nothing connected to it. The unit is currently unplugged, and I'm hoping to perform some sort of reset and it works again. I don't want this to be a dead loss. Has anyone experienced any similar problems?

I'd also like to know. Is shows the charging animation, but doesn't go higher than 98%. I have no problem with that, the unit works without problems. I'd like to know however if it's drawing the full charge current from the mains.

What is the cause of overvolt, and how can it be resolved.?

I have a Mecer unit, with that exact page in the manual. Except I get 3 quick beeps once every few hours. I'm not able to determine what it is, it's not affecting anything, no error message/LED. Buzzer is on silent, yet still it beeps. Doesn't really bother me, but I'd love to know what it is.
