    Hi Derek, i just got my sunsynk 8kw last month. only 2 x 5.1kw batteries. Sorry for the noob question but why not charge it to 100%? I'm still playing with the percentages to get it to not charge the batteries too much during the night after loadshedding so that theres plenty of capacity for the panels to get it to 100 the next day. I don't want to do something that will take years off the batteries life, i'm no pro on this so i'm open to advice. with stage 6 i've changed the SOC % to 80% as the 4H loadshedding multiple times a day is a bit much. our municipality will be punished soon with extra loadshedding due to non payment to eskom so i might have to get a 3rd battery
