  2. Please close out topic, found an inverter
  3. I have an almost New Mecer IVR-2400MPPT Solar Inverter for sale. It is the 2400VA 1800W version. 24V so two 12V deep cycles will be required. Reason for selling, replaced with a Victron. Used for loadshedding to run the TV, sound system, internet, couple of lights and computers. Price R2500 neg. 082 three eight nine 5141
  4. Based in Rivonia. You can send me a whatsapp closer to the time. Number is on main post.
  5. The silver ones I know work for almost all concrete or clay tile roofs. The Olive ones were very specific and if the tile row spacing is even the slightest out they wont fit. You are welcome to come and fetch one of each to try out and then let me know which will work?

  8. Hi. I am looking for a 3000kVA 24V pure sine wave inverter/charger.
  9. I have spoken to Centurion Solar, will be able to see the whole battery bank running through the LV hub as one unit apparently. I will make the LV hub purchase in next month to see how it incorporates and allowing me to fully utilize all 12 batteries and in future add more hopefully effortlessly.
  10. Thank you, that is what I thought too. In terms of the monitoring through the ICC, would it read any values from the LV hub?
  11. Hi all. I have the following setup: 3 x Axpert MKSII 30 x 330W PV modules 12 x Pylontech batteries split into 3 cabinets of 4 batteries but interconnected ons bus 1 x ICC controller I am currently able to monitor 8 x batteries through the ICC (limitation on viewing and a Pylontech limitiation). The last 4 batteries are not controlled by the ICC (I think) as the syncronisation of lights on the battereis themselves differ between the first 8 and the last 4. Would it be possible to economically monitor all 12 batteries (looking to expand to 15 later) on an individual level through another program but still using the ICC to make decisions on SOC and perhaps seeing all connected batteries as 1? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Hi Coulomb. You are correct as I am referring to 3 banks (4 batteries per cabinet) but acting as one battery.
  13. Hi Pierre. Sorry for only getting back to this topic now. What I have decided to do is take out both the inverters and hand them in for Diagnostic or repair if it requires. I assumed it would be a fault on the current sharing side with the cable lengths, but these were rectified prior to me removing the inverters and it still gave me the same error and eventually jumped to an error 9. My current setup is with 2 Axpert MKS II and 8 Pylontech US2000B batteries. This system worked seamlessly for over a year with little to no faults. My design will be changed as soon as I receive the inverters back and the following will be the setup that will be installed with a few additions and changes: 3 x Apert MKS II Reduce the number of PV modules per inverter so that they don't run on their limits most of the time All load cable gauges and lengths will be exactly the same length up until the point where the join 12 x Pylontech US2000b of 4 batteries per bank I would like to switch off the Grid supply as long and often as I can as the power that is fed through from the Utility is also presumed to be the culprit of previous minor faults. Is there anything else that anyone can suggest I change to prevent the nasty error 72 from coming up again and any changes that would make my system 100% off grid? Thanks Louis
  14. Thank you. I have replaced both the red cables of my system but would like to replace the VGA type cables too just to make sure. I would also consider changing the Parallel board if the problem still persists. Thank you for the advice thus far and will keep the thread up to date with what happens
  15. Hi Coulomb, thank you for the response. I have checked every possible cable issue including cable lengths and gauges and it is as close to identical as I could possibly get it. With regards to the current sharing wires, which ones are you referring to?
  16. Hi there, I am struggling with Fault code 72 when Utility power goes off (Load Shedding) and after a while the inverters go into Fault Code 72 (Current sharing fault). This only happens when the utility goes away. I have managed to do a fault log on both inverters and they are attached: Any help would be greatly appreciated. 20200711103227.xls 20200711103240.xls 20200711104204.xls 20200711104221.xls
  17. Hi all. I have the following setup: 16 x 275W Canadian Solar 1x Mecer Axpert MKS II 4x Pylontech US2000 Plus (1 year old) 2x Pylontech US2000 (new) 1x ICC from centurion Solar Once I installed the additional batteries, the ICC failed to show the battery SOC, Battery Volts, Battery Amps, & Battery Temp. But on the inverter it showed that the batteries were charging. When the batteries were checked, the 2 newest ones showed that they were charging (solid light), with the older 4 on standby (1 flash). Assuming this was the systems way of getting the SOC in balance for all 6. When I checked the monitoring side though, the problem mentioned above was what I saw on the ICC. A US2000 Plus is the master and the rest slaves. Could I have a communication cable problem from the ICC to the batteries (obvious first check to do in the morning)? Or do I have a design fault on the battery side with the ICC unable to monitor the 6 batteries? Is there perhaps a mix issue with new and old batteries or the fact that they are slightly different? Or would a full setting check need to be done to isolate the problem from an inverter setting perspective? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
  18. Thanks Dirk. Do you also use the Centurion Solar monitoring?
  19. Hi Guys. So I have come across the following a dont know how any of you who are well versed with the Victron products feel about it? https://www.victronenergy.com/live/battery_compatibility:pylontech_phantom What I was thinking was to move away from the Mecer products and perhaps try out the Victron setup. They say in the document that the R&D departments from both Victron & Pylontech approve the compatibility. Any advise in this regard will help alot. Thank you in advance
  20. Hi Dirk. Thank you for the reply. Did you also run with the pylontech batteries?
  21. Thank you Coulomb. I will try to pull up the data in this week and post it here. As I mentioned to Dave. Do you have any suggestions with regards to a better setup or is this set of inverters up for the job? Thanks
  22. Hi Dave. So what would your suggestion be to permanently solve the problem? I am far away from the property most of the time, and going back just to have the system off for a week or two would not be nice. Can another more reliable inverter or inverter/charger combo be better in this situation without getting rid of the batteries?
