Pleasure man, I know how bloody frustrating it can be seeing 100% and then 51%. For me thinking a cut off of 48V would be lekker. Lol

Your previous settings:
[53.6v - (44+0.2)] x 10 = 94%
With that change it will be:
[53.6v - (43.4+0.2) x 10 = 100%
We litterally have the same settings, my float is also 53.6

But basically what they said is that it is normal behavior and nothing to worry about. Thanks for all the comments, at least now I know it's not going to detonate

Anton64 reacted to zsde in Hubble AM-2 Drop to 94%Understand that. What I am suggesting is that you advise Hubble of your observed results so that they can confirm that it is normal or else investigate if they perceive it to be out of the ordinary.
From my own experience with Growatt, I eventually got confirmation from Growatt China that their algorithm actually runs the battery down to 95% and then recharges to 100% if in Li mode. Nothing the user can do about that except to apply Voltage control mode.

Anton64 reacted to Bobster. in PV Power FluctuationSo the first thing is that PV can fluctuate according to conditions. Even on mostly clear days the odd cloud may pass over.
Unless your system set to export it's excess power, once the battery is charged the system will draw just enough PV to service the loads.
Look at my system today
Green line is SOC. Blue line is PV. Yellow line is load.Purple line is battery - below the axis it is charging, above it is discharging.
1) Although it's a clear, blue sky day (every time I look out the window) there has been some cloud and it causes the available PV to vary.
2) Once the battery is charged you can see the PV that the system is drawing being reduced to just enough service the load.
3) At one point you can see loads go up, system draws from battery because there's not enough PV, but then draws full PV for a few minutes to charge the battery up again.
There's nothing unusual about this. All quite usual behaviour. The only way that the afternoon use of PV would go up is if I increased the loads or if I was exporting my surplus.
Do you have a graph something like this that illustrates the behaviour that has you concerned? I suspect that would help us. Be prepared for questions about what inverter you have and about the settings.

The load is fairly constant but I'm going to ask a very stupid question now - does the power shown on the inverter normally show what is being used or what is generated i.e. if it reports 230v, 55W is that what is currently being used or is that what the panels are generating?

Anton64 got a reaction from Coulomb in InfiniSolar V IV 5600 won't connect to InternetNo worries, I sorted it out but not the way you'd think. To configure the wifi on these hybrid inverters you need to use the Solarpower app, which as mentioned I could never get done. So I decided to try Watchsolar, used for off-grid inverters, Well surprise, surprise, it worked first time. I then removed it and went back to Solarpower and it also worked. Cannot really tell what the difference between the two apps are, except for the icon.
