I’ve got a mecer/mustek 5kva invertes with batteries. when power goes out, it dont seem to kick over to battery quick enough, resulting in all my computers being rebooted. Is there a setting to fix this? I should add that the inverter is running at about 80% load

It seems to have resolved itself. The problem seems to raise its head when we have bad power in the area (low voltage, phase down, etc). Once those problems disappear, things seem to go back to normal

Genny output seems fine. Yeh genny is earthed properly. my guy says something has gone wonky in the Deye firmware

I dont have any means to measure the genny output freq, but I assume its "ok" as the house seems to run just fine. The genny has an auto start and auto changeover switch. Yes, it feeds from grid side. Also, if I disconnect the batteries and pv on the inverter while the genny is running, the inverter stays powered up, so its definitely getting power from the genny. Also as per the original screenshot the "AC" led is on when the genny is running. I'm going to try get hold of a multimeter that can read frequency and see if that narrows it down

Great catch on the different voltages. I'm assuming its because the photos weren't taken at the same time, but I'll definitely compare them next time the genny is on. Those voltage screens confuse me, but here they are

My inverter gets supply from grid. I have 23kva generator inline. when grid goes down, generator kicks in and supplies to the house. this feed comes in to the inverter. When the grid is supplying, the inverter works fine. When the grid goes down (praise Cyril) and my generator kicks in, the inverter refuses to pick up the "grid". It just shows "stand by", "0hz" as per photo. You'll also notice the AC light is on, so it does in fact see the incoming current. I've put a multimeter across the incoming "grid" connection lugs while generator is running and it picks up 232v (2nd photo) When the grid power comes back, then it goes back to normal Im completely confused. As far as the inverter is concerned, it shouldnt be able to tell the difference between generator supplied power and grid supplied power - they both come in on the same line Any ideas on what I need to do here?

I've upgraded to a Deye 8kw and no longer need my Imeon. It's been working perfectly for 4 years and since I got it configure to work in UPS mode, it hasn't given any issues. I'm in Somerset West, Western Cape - WhatsApp me here https://ezwa.co.za?number=0721943546

I'm happy to report that once I figured out how to properly program the Imeon, Its been working absolutely flawlessly for the past 4 years

In winter when there isnt much sun I *do* want the grid to charge batteries. anyways, the problem isnt really with the settings - its been working fine until recently. as soon as it gets to evening time, the imeon just stops using the grid, even though it has 235v on it. Is the imeon perhaps over sensitive to grid voltage, and purposefully not using the grid?

I'm starting to think something has gone belly up on the imeon If I completely disconnect the batteries, it shows battery voltage 54.6v, and charging at 1.5a. Obviously this isnt possible if the batteries arent connected I want the following setup 1) solar to supply my house during the day 2) excess solar feedback to the grid 3) batteries ONLY ever to be used if grid is down and solar is unable to provide enough power. 4) I don't want to cycle my batteries every day is there anyone in the helderberg that can get "pro" mode on the imeon and come have a look for me?

Hi All, I've had an imeon 3.6 installed 18mths ago (provider has since dissappeared and is untraceable). 3 mths ago I added 12x250w solar panels. Recently what I've noticed (it might have been doing it for some time), is that as soon as the solar stop producing, the imeon switches over to battery and then shortly thereafter cuts power and never switches back to grid. then this morning, it decided to use the solar only to charge the batteries, but not the grid to supply the house (see attached image) I've got the imeon software on my laptop, and have tried all the different settings. I read somewhere else on this forum there is a "pro" mode which allows you to calibrate batteries and gives you access to error codes. I'm based in the helderberg and am willing to pay whatever it costs to have the stupid thing sorted out.
