What would happen if you leave that "Activate Battery" checked?

Hi all Hope you can help me. I've got a Deye 5kw inverter with a Magneto 9.6kwh battery and 7 x 460w panels installed. It was running perfect for a few days, but now all the sudden it's not using the battery during the evenings according to my schedule in the Time of Use section. The battery stays at 94% and charging very little. I've set it now to charge to 100% but it's still just giving the battery a few watts every now and again. It went down to 93%. I've set it up to use the battery power from 5pm - 7am at 35%. It was working great until Friday evening. Tried to change the timeslots and it's still not charging/discharging. Any idea what the problem might be? Also tried a new firmware update and that didn't solve the problem. I can post a a few pictures from the inverter settings if you want.
