  1. Good Morning! I have 4 of these batteries (400A 19.2Kw) and my Dye 5KV inverter battery settings are this: Max discharge current: 100A MAx charge current: 80A Battery float charge voltage: 54.4 V Battery absorption charge voltage: 55 V Battery equalization charge voltage: 57.6 V I am using Solar Assistant for management and monitoring... Best Regards Jean
  2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2305688819605685 Join this group; they are great! There are about 18 000 Starlink systems in SA already
  3. Thanks All! I see one is 100A and the other 200A? I use it in a 4x4 vehicle for aux power. Most current draw is about 15A (Fridges, Starlink, etc) at the same time. Charge rate is 45A. For my application the 100A would be fine? The battery is configured with 8 cells, but with 2x2 in Parallel and then that 4 (2) in Series. So I can then only check and monitor "4" cels with the BT app? Regards Jean
  4. Hi All, I am looking for this BMS or similiar from any store in SA who has it in stock. I am using a "home built" 12V 200A (4 x 2 =8 Cells) as my aux battery in my Land Cruiser. It has been in use for about 200 days per year for the last 2 years, but the BMS has failed. I am now running the battery only with a balance with no protection... https://lvabatteryelectronics.co.za/products/daly-lifepo4-bms-4s-12v-200a-ebike-battery-management-system-bms-other-pcb-pcba?variant=48092076933436 I think it can be anything between 100A and 300A, but must be 12V? I never draw more than 100A at once... Help if you can please... Best Regards Jean @ Waypoint Adventures
  5. 6:30 this morning....
  6. Hi All! Thanks for all the help so far! I have added another 48v 100Ah Litium battery. This is where I am at with my settings. Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. I think I can be very close to grid free id if I get the settings right? Best Regards Jean
  7. Thanks for all your help so far! Thismis my charge settings. Is this ok?
  8. Thanks. It was there and I left it? And I see it make no difference to the settings? or does it?
  9. ThankYou! Yes it is that battery. A few questions about this if you dont mind: 1. Power column: What does this mean? My inverter is 5kv. Default setting is 5000... 2. Line 5: Does this mean if the battery is not at 100% by 15, charge with the grid to 70%? If so, I have sun until about 17:00. Can I set to charge from 17:00. Can I up the 70% to say 80%? 3. "Energy Pattern: Load First" What if I set it to "Battery First"? Thjaks Again! Regards Jean
  10. So I dont think I understand this. If at all possible and you have a moment, please send me the breakdown of all 6 lines of what you would recommend and when the "Grid Charge". must be ticked. I would really appreciate any help I can get... Best Regards Jean
  11. Hi All, I just installed my system: 1 x Deye 5kW Inverter | 1 x 48v 100Ah 5.1kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate LVTopSun Battery | 8 x 550W SunSolar Solar Panels. I am still trying to work it all out, but this is what I currently have setup (images). I am really keen to run as much as possible from the battery.... I see a long delay when it switches back to grid (about 1 minute)? I this normal? I am waiting for my Solar Assistant to arrive... Best Regards Jean

  13. Good morning! I have searched the forum for "Best Settings" but there are so many different answers that i thought I could ask. I have 12 x 105A Lead Acid batteries in Parrallel-Series to make up 48V with 3 x Vicron Balancers configured as the attachment. I have a 5500W Inverter set to charge at 50A. No solar panels. My inverter is configured as per the screenshots I know the cut-off voltage is set too low, but this is how i figured out to get a "best" accurate battery capacity reading I am new to this, pleae help if you have a moment Best Regards Jean
  14. Thank you, How much must the Float be ?
  15. Hi All, I am new to this and I am trying to find the optimum settings (WatchPower) for my Fivestar 48V PO8548 (6500W) inverter. no solar panels with 8 x 105a Deep cycles in Parallel-Series. Its almost as if the batteries are not getting charged fully? I have Googled and tried to find something "easy" to understand. My current Settings:
