  1. Current and bypass diodes

    Herman posted a topic in Solar Power
    Good morning fellow members, If we add pv panels in series, then the voltage gets "added" en the total current stays the same. When we add them in parallel, the current gets "added", and the voltage stays the same. When does the bypass diode's current limit come into play? To me, it seems never, from the above, but I just want to sense check myself. Regards, Herman
