    Just started with Solar Assistant.
The best thing for monitoring and making changes on the fly. still learning, but made such a difference in figuring out what is what

    > However when i update the settings from Pylontech BMS to User the state of charge drops from 97% to 57% but the solar handles the load which is good for the day time.

I have been wondering the same about my KODAK 7.2OG with Revov R100s. The inverter constantly shows the battery levels as between 20%-80% (when batteries are empty, the inverter thinks they are at 20%, and when the batteries are full, the inverter thinks they are at 80%).
I suspect this is because of the suggested (by Revov) settings: https://revov.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Kodak-REVOV-Manual-V1.pdf (page 21+)

I hope this settings help some, but your battery supplier might have different recommended settings.

Best is to get Solar assistant or something of the sort.
You connect the batteries directly to the Pi and it reads the State of charge.
You can then use the following to change inverter settings.

    Hi WezHo.
This is my setting with a Kodak King and 3 x Pylontech us 300c batteries.
I am also running Solar Assistant.

Should be ok. If they are off they are in Idle mode.
