Recommended Pylontech Current
Thanks for the reply Jacques. This is the current call setting. I hope this is what you are referring to. I set the charge from solar to max 120A, which is the fuse limitation i have of 125A Also noticed the cycles per battery, is that used or cycles left?

Recommended Pylontech Current
Hi All, I wanted to query what is the recommended charge current for 4x 3.5kw 48v US3000C? I recently added in Solar Assistant for monitoring and the page recommends a charge current of 37.0A, but I'm unsure if this is per battery or for the entire battery bank.

Solar input disrupted at 97% battery
I purchased Solar Assistant and through that interface I managed to find the right settings. After much playing around on Solar Assistant, I managed to resolve the issue. Solar Assistant which was such a huge help in correcting my issue. Basically i changed the following:- Battery from Inverter settings to Emulated BMS I had both the Micro USB from inverter to Solar Assistant and Voltronic RS232 from inverter to Solar Assistant. I removed the RS232. Current Connection:- Pylontech Cable from Master Battery to Inverter Micro USB from inverter to Solar Assistant Changes Experienced:- Battery now shows 100% charge and not 97% at full Solar remains on to manage the load after battery has fully charged No more fault 69 or error 61 with current set up show below Battery charges from the grid at 20%, and not at a voltage spike Max current max charge current of 50A from solar, 10A from grid Some screen grabs of my setting for Solar Assistant if needed, hope this helps others with similar issues

I believe we are using 2 parallel strings and the 50A fuse is between the panels and the inverter

OG-Plus 5.48 Settings
Hi There, I recently added solar assistant to my setup and it has raised some concerns, can I please get some help for the settings. The inverter switches of the solar when the batteries are at 97% state of charge and switches back to solar when dropped by 1%. How can I get the batteries to charge 100% and then have solar run the load until solar is unable to manage the load? The inverter keeps updating the settings to 140A, If i understand correctly, the batteries should never be charged higher than 20A per battery, so no more than 80A. Am I correct or what is the correct A for 4x US3000C 3.5KW Pylontech Batteries or is 140A safe for the longevity of the battery? My setup:- 1x Kodak King 5kw, 4x 3.5kw Pylontech Batteries, 6x 660w Canadian Solar Panels 125A Battery Fuse, 50A Solar Fuse Battery recharge from grid at 20% SOC, Inverter shutdown at 10% SOC Shut Down Battery 46v, To grid 48v, Back to Battery 49v, Battery float and absorption charge 53.2v Max charge 140A, Max grid charge 10A Any assistance is greatly appreciated and happy to supply additional information if needed. Thank you.

Alternative to Watchpower, any recommendations?
Just started with Solar Assistant. The best thing for monitoring and making changes on the fly. still learning, but made such a difference in figuring out what is what

Solar input disrupted at 97% battery
I have the KODAK King Model: OG-Plus 5.48. Its a Axpert re-branding as i understand I have the BMS cable connected and the inverter disconnects the solar. However when i update the settings from Pylontech BMS to User the state of charge drops from 97% to 57% but the solar handles the load which is good for the day time. Hope i can get some settings update to keep the solar as first preference for load then battery then eskom

Solar input disrupted at 97% battery
Hi All, The solar assistant has shown me alot more details:- I found out that the solar cut out when the batteries are at 97%, and reconnects, charges the battery and cuts out again, and its a up down situation. I'm worried that this will reduce the life span of the batteries. Need to get the Solar to constantly stay on once the batteries are fully charged Setup:- 5kw inverter + 4x3.5KW pylontech + 6x660w solar panels Inverter settings:- Battery cut-off voltage: 46.0v, Back to grid voltage: 48.0v, Back to discharge voltage: 49.0v Connected Inverter to Solar Assistant via Micro USB Cable Connected Battery to Inverter via BMS cable

Pylontech - 80% or 90% usable capacity?
I've got a kodak king 5.48 inverter paired with 4x 3.5kw pylontech batteries. I've been struggling to get them to connect back to grid at the 80% use, but due to the inverter working on voltage increments of 1. Mine is set to 47 volts and only charges from grid when it's on 91%. I've tried 48 volts, but then I see the battery charging from grid anywhere between 40% - 80%. Was hoping as soon as the alarm triggered for 80% usage the batteries would start to charge from the grid. Any ideas how to get around this without additional software add-ons? Much appreciated.

Kodak King & Pylontech Battery setting
Thank you for the feedback Jacques. This morning i could confirm that the batteries dropped to 10% before the grid kicked in to charge, which i am happy with for now, ideally i would like it to kick in at 20% before grid charge. I have tried with the installer and SegenSolar, but with no luck for the correct settings. Its now that i turn to this forum for assistance. Your help has greatly reduced my grid usage

Kodak King & Pylontech Battery setting
Thank you so much Jacques. 👍 My setup:- 5kw Kodak King 3000c Pylontech x4 660w panels x6 I will try the above settings you mentioned. I have tried the 47.0 V setting for back to grid however the batteries have dropped to 90% usage. I was wanting for the batteries to start charge when the low battery warning comes on which is generally around 80% usage. Will check if all works out based on the provided settings I will update the back to battery voltage as 50.0 V, i currently have it set to full My max charge current is 140 A My max grid charge current 2 A, will update

Kodak King & Pylontech Battery setting
Hellos. I previously posted that my inverter and batteries were not communicating correctly. I managed to get a properly working communications cable. I now have a slightly different issue I would appreciate some assistance. What is the correct voltage for back to recharge the batteries. Currently set at 48.0 V, I noticed that depending on the power usage the inverter would start to recharge if the batteries from grid even if the batteries have a like a 80% charge because the voltage dropped below 48.0V (3.3kw) if like a kettle or microwave was used On the other hand the batteries can drop below 10% if there is no spike in usage and would only charge if purposefully spike the voltage, the batteries dont auto start to charge even when the low battery warning has started around 20% left The inverter throws an error 69 and beeps, disconnects from the solar, I was under the impression the solar would handle the load in the event the batteries are fully charged 1. Looking for the batteries to charge when the low battery warning starts to beep 2. Looking for the solar to manage the load after the batteries are full PLEASE HELP
