  1. Hi Nick, To answer your question on: This shows my battery charging to 100% and then discharging approximately +-45Watt constantly. It then shows 97% battery until load-shedding where it discharges further till 84%. After AC is restored it re-charges back to 100% and starts the discharging again. Is this normal? ------------ Not sure if your issue has been resolved: I have the same setup as you. No solar. I resolved it by doing the following: On your settings (either app or PC) section under Application Setting. Change AC first Start Time 1 to: 00:00 and AC first End Time 1 to: 23:59. This basically forces the inverter to use grid power only and not some of the battery power as well. And when the grid goes off the battery kicks in. Plain and simple. You will still see that the battery discharging at around 20w when full but i think this is normal. I recon the inverter is just keeping the battery a bit active. Your battery will stay at 100% for a couple of hours and will drop to 99% due to the slow discharge. Hope this helps.

  3. Hi Giyani. I also have the inverter installed in my kitchen and the fan noise is a bit hectic especially when the inverter is charging the batteries. However i found that when i reduced the charging amps in settings (i use the PC for this) to 30A the fans doesn't run that fast. It was set at 50A. On 50A it pulled about 2200W from Eskom to charge the battery and on 30A it uses about 1800W. Obviously it will take a bit longer to charge your batteries fully but on my lithium battery it extended the charging time by about 5min. I also wanted to move my inverter to the garage but then the inverter's wifi dongle won't pick up the router. Oddly enough I'm actually getting use to it now (fan noise).
