    I forgot to mention, since the new battery was installed, the older batteries are refusing to turn off at their switches.

    I am also having the exact same issue. Two older Magneto batteries (few months old). Seem to work fine. Recently installed a third one and looks slightly different. Now the batteries will not balance. The new battery's full charge voltage is also slightly lower than the older ones. Did you ever get the battery replaced with version one and did it fix the issue? They already updated the firmware and did not fix the issue.
