Hi. We are always adding new batteries to the compatibility list, we can always facilitate compatibility testing with our HO engineers. We also have a battery test document that can be tested and completed by the battery OEM and submitted through our local SA service center for compatibility. The Hubble batteries compatibility is complete and have now been added to the Solis inverter compatibility list. We are just waiting for the list to be updated but they can safely be used. The inverters warranty will be compromised if it is used with incompatible batteries. Solis will also not be able to support the combination. Solis are in the process of facilitating compatibility testing for a number of different battery brands and they will be added to the list as soon as the testing is complete and certified.

When using the Bluetooth antenna the system has a ±20M connection distance which would allow most users to access their inverter easily from most places in the house. The app also reconnects automatically when you get back in BT range as long as it wasn't closed.

Out-the-box remote control capability has now been given to the installer, no longer requires owner permissions. A disclaimer just needs to be agreed to get into the settings. The owner also gets out-the-box limited remote control access.

You can connect the grid-tied PV inverter to the Backup or Gen connection of the S6 Hybrid inverter so that the PV generation energy is always available, but you should not rely on the "maximum demand" ie. 6kW (hybrid) + 1kW(grid-tied) = 7kW max demand. This might not always be available.

As I mentioned in a previous post it is not suggested to rely on this extra demand capacity. PV power is not a reliable form of power as Solar irradiation is unreliable and full power from the PV array is not always available or guaranteed.

When the PV inverter is connected to the Hybrids backup port you are adding an extra 1kW of power, "in a way". This is however unreliable power that may or may not be available depending on the solar irradiation, weather, and atmospheric conditions. You will more than likely suffer from nuisance tripping if the sun suddenly falls away due to clouds or early morning, late afternoon operation. Consistent overloading could even eventually damage the Hybrid.
