  1. The MCB's are 32a and the changeover is 40a It's a 5kw Luxpower inverter with a 5kw Dyness battery
  2. Hi Could someone please help me with a wiring diagram for my AC protection box. Components are on the DB in the order shown in the pic. i.e. were should inverter in/out go and where does grid in/out go. How do I link surge protection. Much appreciated
  3. Hi, In order to save costs I want to mount the panels to the roof myself. I have a few free days coming up. When I do this what do I need to do with regards to wiring in order to hand over to an electrician to complete the installation Can I run the solar DC cables to were I want the inverter? Use metal galvanized tube on the outside of roof as conduit and then use PVC once it moves inside? or is it metal all the way? Im planning on 2 strings of 6 panels each. Does each strings cables need to be in a separate conduit? What do I need to do with earthing the panels? Do I just attach the earthing clips to the panels and leave the rest for the electrician? What else do I need to know, or can do to reduce the costs of installers/electricians Thanks
  4. Agree. I think people should prioritise battery charging early in the day 9-12, then run your high loads if your solar permits 12-4, , and then if loadshedding happens run off batteries 4-9pm and only top off batteries if really required through the night. Otherwise wait until the next day to top up with solar.
