  1. This is a Mecer 5.6 kw inverter. One more question. I would like to ad a second 5.5 kw battery to mt existing system. Do I need to change any settings on the inverter self? Or do i simply conect the second battery and do the setting of the dip switches?
  2. Yup thats how I understand it to be. To my understanding this would be the maximum pannels I would be able to connect to the system, correct?
  3. Hi thanks. Inverter The VOC is 450 MPPT is 120-430V The MPPT Input curent is 27A Max PV Aray is 6000W Pannels x10 49.4 VOC Imp 13.14A Vmp 41.5 Pmax 545W
  4. Hi there. I have a Mecer 5.6kw inverter and use to have only ome Hubble AM 2 battery. I now have two Batteries in Parallel. Other than the coms cable between the two batteries and the dip switch settings, is there any other settings on the inverter self that needs to change to accommodate the second battery?
  5. Thanks. I got some advice from the supplier. Told me to rather split the string into two series strings and then parallel them to reach the max pv aray of 6000W and stil be under the Max VOC
  6. Good day. I hope some could give me some advice please. What would happen I i have a max VOC of 450 on my Inverter but have 490VOC comming from the pannels?
  7. I installed the Watchtower app but when I want to conect to the internet is says the app keeps stopping and then the app completely closes. Any advice? Is it a Issue with my phone ore the app it self. I can't seem to confirm the wifi cenetion then it just stops and exit the App?
  8. Could someone please help me. How do I know exactly what percentage my battery is. The inverter only gives an estimate between 100% 75% 50% and 25%.
  9. I installed the Watchtower app but when I want to conect to the internet is says the app keeps stopping and then the app completely closes. Any advice? The link to Solar Assistant is it a different app I can use instead of watchtpower?
  10. Thanks much appreciated.
  11. Good morning. Thanks for the info I did install it manually for now. Until I het the cloud link. For the cloud link to work do I have to get some device for the inverter aswel to be able to conect to the internet? I se there is a App Whatch power but it seems I can't get it to conect to my phone without some module of a kind. I'm guessing I would neet it for cloud link aswel?
  12. Good day. Today I bought a Mecer 5.6 kw Inverter along with a 5.5 kw Hubble AM2 batery. As I understand the batery has a BMS system in and it seems like there was a communication cable of some kind included I the box. On the Inverter there is a BMS port aswel. Do I have to use this cable for the BMS to work? According to the sales man tmit is not necessary to connect the Inverter and the batery for the BMS to work. Is this true?

Good day. I own a mecer sol-i-ax-3vp. I have 4 100ah 12V lead acid batteries and 1160W of solar panels. I am staying on a farm and I mainly use this as a backup system for Loadsheding. Any suggestions on what whould be the most optimal setting and one more question. If i put the setting to Solar first. Does the inverter first put the power thru the batteries and then out to the load? Looking at the diagram drawn when I select that option it sure does seem like that it does.

  15. Thanks. During the we dont really use much power from the inverter during the day Its basically the internet and maybe home alarm. I want to keep batteries full for loadsheding during the night. Its only on weak ends the kids might play some video games during the day but other than that we do not have any thin using a lot of power constantly of the inverter. In future I would like to get a second pannel. Unfortunately the inverter only allows for 1200watt solar input.
