Avinesh got a reaction from JacoG in DEYE 8Kw Inverter BMS settingsProblem solved. I did a Firmware update on the Deye inverter. That did not help and the problem remained.
I then called Deyness and they inspected the network cables being used. They advised me to change the cables and that did the trick.
150A charge and discharge. Solar panels are working and producing and storing at the optimuim with Batt set to Lithium.

With the discharge set too high the battery will switch off instead of the inverter limiting the value below 100A.
Get the installer out and show him/her this portion of the specs on the battery. X2 for 2 batteries.

If in doubt, hit the battery icon on the main screen, bottom left.
Then on the Batt screen, hit the Li-BMS in the bottom right.
Then check in the Li-BMS page what the battery is telling the inverter the discharging and charging current can be. My guess is, 100A charging and discharging. And I suspect that your installer set the discharge too high and the charging possibly too low. But also do check with the installer before changing it, because he installed the wiring and fuses to support this current. Should be okay, but I don't want to assume it is.

Avinesh got a reaction from Scorp007 in Eskom power fluctuating at 0.5 KwHI All. After monitoring for a while, I think it could be an inaccurate reading from the Efergy monitor.
The consumption on the meter does not correspond with the pre paid usage.
