  1. Worth mentioning as well, program 36 - 51
  2. I have an Growatt SPF 5000ES inverter and a Hope 4.8l-C1 battery connected to it via Can Bus cable. All is working great until you start charging the battery in the morning. I found that the max charge to the battery will be at 16A regardless solar or grid charge. After some hours while the battery is charging at this slow rate, it will adjust itself to be charged with higher input current and max out at a cap of 50A. My problem is, in the morning my solar array start generating solar where the load might be low at this point and the solar will only give a charge to match the 16A the battery charge is at. By 13h00 give or take the battery barely charge as we started putting a load on doing washing ect. The solar might give 2.5kw late morning and is enough to power my load but when the load goes down, the solar drops down to match the 16A charge again for the battery. Give or take 800w So in short what is happening here, as long as I have a load that intermittently switch on and off, the battery charge only when the load is low, but also only with 16A.... I was wondering if anyone could help me understand why this is happening and if there is a way around this. What is confusing me is that I've had the battery at 20% one morning and 77% another, where the behavior of this stays the same. I thought at first that it might be that the battery is low and might be possible why the charge is low but seems I'm mistaken. Can anyone please let me know their thoughts around this. My settings as follows: 1 - SBU 2 - Can not be changed but you can see here what the battery max current charge is at 3- APL 4 - dis 5 - LI 6 - dis 7 - dis 8 - 230v 9 - 50 10 - 4 11 - 20A 12 - 15% 13 - 25% 14 - OSO 15 - off 16 - off 17 - off 18 - dis 19 - 53.5 20 - 53.5 21 - 10% I believe the rest of the settings does not matter from 22 regarding this issue Thanks

Hi guys. Is there anyone who can give me contact details for local Growatt support in South Africa?
  4. @MdF thank you kindly for the info. I'll check it out. For now, I'm in a battle to get support on the SPF 500es inverter, got to say I've been trying to get support since May month. Thanks again for your response.
  5. Hi guys, hope I'm not to late replaying to this. I have a Growatt SPF5000es connected with Hope4.8-C1 battery. My inverter is connected to the battery with the can bus cable and solar assistant is set to use inverter values. If I would want to change this to try get more data from my battery, is it possible to connect the can bus directly to the solar assistant RPI? and if yes, how would the inverter handle this when it cannot see the battery via can bus anymore? I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is this possible, and what would the best way around this be?
