  1. I just figured out why in the flow chart, my inverter was not displaying the power drawn from the grid. I checked a lot of advice and tried around a lot with the ct coil, but the reason for the issue was that the installer had connected the inverters grid connection after the breakers for the non-essential load in the db. That's why the inverter could not measure the power used. After connecting the inverters grid connection directly after the main breaker, the readings are now accurate.
  2. I had the same issue and the problem was that the inverters grid connection was connected after the breakers of the non-essential loads. Because of that the inverter did not know how many watts they used. By connecting the grid connection directly after the main breaker, I now get accurate numbers for grid usage

  4. I recently had a Sunsynk inverter installed and I have noticed that when my geyser is on, it shows a load on the house icon (Which I assume is the non-essential load) but also adds the same load to the UPS. I thought that the UPS should only show the actual load on the essentials, but instead it seems to show the Sum of the non-essential and essential load. Is that normal? In the attached images you see pictures taken just seconds apart. The picture on the right has the UPS load at only 441Watts and 0 non-essential load. But in the image on the left the non essential load of 2944 Watts gets added and suddenly the UPS reading jumps to 3324 Watts. At the same time from the Grid and the inverter reading it appears clearly that the UPS is just adding the non-essential and essential load to its reading. Is that the correct behavior?
