    Thanks you for the feedback. I got hold of support at Solar Assistant and after some trial and error. In the end what we ended up doing was to connect Solar Assistant to the RS232 port of the master battery and not the RS485 port as suggested on their website. For some reason SolarAssitant only pick up the master battery via the 485 port. I'm just glad it's working now.

  4. Solar Assistant not picking up slave batteries

    Good day, I have an axpert inverter connected to three 5kWh Rentech batteries. There is no comms between the inverter and batteries. Solar Assistant is connected to the batteries via the correct cable ordered from the website. I can however only see the info of the master battery and not of the slaves. If I however log onto the master battery with pbms tools on a laptop I can see the info of the slave batteries as well so I think the communication between the batteries is fine. Any ideas of what could be the issue?
