Hello all. Please I need advice. I am stayind in my daughter's house which is equipped with a powerwall 2 Goodwe5000 15 panel solar system. I saw with surprise it was producing less than my own 6 panel system, only 9kwh per day. Data from the Tesla app and eskom accounts shows it was producing up to 30kwh per day but exporting illegally 20% of it as excess. Suddenly 2 years after installation 3 years ago production halved. I got the agent out and he very reluctantly admitted he had throttled the Goodwe as this was the only way to stop export. Some lame explanation about because powerwall is ac you cannot stop export any other way. My daughter has never been given the Goodwe solargo app so I cannot check the settings. When I try to install solargo it tells me the inverter is registered to some unknown user and my acess denied. The agent says the Goowe is now out of warranty and the service department must service it but he fails to send them out. Sounds all cock and bull to me. Fact is the set up always has and still is exporting with all the bad possibilities and costs. Question is can powerwall 2 Goodwe properly integrate to form a stable hybrid. Thanks in advance. Hi. Have just been notified by our councilor that "amnesty to register" pv installations has been extended to Sept 2024 failing which draconian fines apply. If I understand the charges correctly at R11.83 per A and R292 per month this is a 100% increase in my case. Buy back is at 74c (vs min cost at R2.2o) per kWh for which more expensive meters are needed. With only 6 panels for my needs this is a non starter. Seems like another draconian tax. Question is do you have to register even if you have no intention of selling into the grid for simple backup system PV panels Inverter Battery.

I have exactly the same problem. .5A fuse blowing on amplifier regularly. Lux software updates has not solved the issue which seems to occur when load is from grid because total load exceeds EPS inverter max 4kW and loadshedding happens. (Washing machine plus kettle plus other eg) I have now just put in a 1A fuse (not wise) as a last resort (my Amp is 40 years old). My Eskom input voltage is 240 volts in Knysna. There is a noticeable drop in brightness of lights from Eskom to EPS at 220V

Hi. I have the same issue with amplifier 500mA fuse and door motor 5A fuse. I have narrowed it down to fuse blow occurs when grid loadshedding starts or ends under load of 1kW plus on the system. Also blow when inverter trips on overload. Luxpower 5kW battery and 6 pv panels Warwick
