    I am having a similar problem. Bought a usb rs485 adapter. Connected it to my pi 4 but can’t seem to pick it up on the Mqtt mosquito. If you don’t go via solarman do you need the esp32 integration? thanks for the assistance and great videos @Sc00bs

    Hi I am struggling to connect with a USB-RS485 adapter to my sunsynk 8kva inverter. I have the new sunsynk dongle so I cannot use the solarman integration. Have a pi4 running home assistant connected to the inverter but just can't seem to get the MQTT connection working. Anyone have any idea why?
