  1. ...Because you can be utilising the battery instead of Eskom at night, so you can save costs and not waste solar power. The batteries\solar enable you in essence, to store power for later use. using battries during the day (or as you put it 100% down to 65% during the day is unnecessary)
  2. HI, All recently installed my DEYE system. After realising that Solarman is very bottom of the barrel when it comes to data visuals. Deye cloud is slightly better. Either app, there is no abilty to view the Electricity used or exported or saved in the currency, even though you configure in it in the setup of the app plant? I know certain 'solar solution per month' solutions do offer it in their dashboard. something along the lines of "Amount saved so far:..." I there anyway to get those parameters in the existing dashboard landscape? (...Also is there a way to save the parameters of a graph without selecting it ever-blerrie-time?) NOte: I do not have Solar Assistant.
  3. Got quoted this today. I am by no menas a expert. Sure, no site visit has been done, and this does not include solar at all. ...but the additional equipment costs seems a little excessive, doesn't it? (VAT is included in the end) R30K install+ equipment for only an inverter+battery solution. Living in Pretoria. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated.
