Check out this chap. Importing transformer ( transformer inverters) from China. Hi voltage system. They are now sending him a transformer as a sponsorship, as they are getting lots of enquiries from the States. Closed loop system, manual, no wifi to hack into.

I inherited one of these ultractec ms-5123 from my brother who bought it and it worked once and then he told me it doesn't work. So I put in new 6v battery. Then left it in wall as emergency light, couple of weeks later. i tried it again (I would only leave it on for a few minutes in load shedding as it seemed to be bright for a few minutes then go very low) left the room and cam back hour and a half later. the light didn't even last one 2 hour load shed. It was completely dead. So checked the web (where I came across this post)to see if anyone else was having the same problem. What a shit light. Was thinking of soldering to 18650's in series and just attaching to the current charge cables. (just scared there could be a fire).
