  1. Please clarify, is this a setting in the prepaid meter or is it a setting on the LuxPower inverter? I have a similar problem but don't seem to have that setting on the inverter and don't know if the prepaid meter has such a setting.
  2. 3.22 and all about the same (3.22 - 3.222)
  3. I am using the BatteryView software from Pylontech. It tells me the voltage of the battery as a whole as well as the individual cells. The current voltages are higher than my other batteries when they are very low (which are working fine)
  4. I have a US5000 pylontech battery that was discharged and left in storage for some time. As far as I can tell there is no other issue with it. When I got it, the BMS comes on but in BatteryView it was showing low voltage errors. I put it on an inverter and it charges very slowly (0.2A or less) and keeps going into idle. I have been trying to do this for some days and it has at times got up to 48.4V. However it spends most of its time in idle mode. I assume this is some special protection mode of the BMS. What I want to know is if I ever get it to full will it sort itself out and then behave normally? Or is there something else that must happen? Or are the cells permanently damaged? Or should I be doing something different?
  5. Yes, it is OG-Plus. Not sure where to get the correct manual because the one I have been using does not show setting 28 but I did learn about it from these forums and am able to change it. I did try different source priorities with no change in behavior.
  6. The batteries charge from utility and solar with no problem and get to fully charged. I have also tried a completely different battery with similar results and the person who checked the electronics used a third battery. I also check the battery voltage and that seems fine.
  7. I recently bought a second hand Kodak OG 5.48 inverter. The previous owner said it was in working condition and had been used in parallel with other inverters. However when I connected it up, everything looked fine except that if I try to switch it on the dc - ac inverter does not come on. No errors are shown, but the output goes to zero for a few seconds then it goes back to ac-bypass mode. At first I thought it was because it was in parallel mode but I was able to reset the settings and still nothing. I consulted an electrician who looked at the internals and said everything is working fine and he thinks it is a software issue. I am thinking about reflashing the firmware but first need to get the appropriate cables to do so. I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience or has suggestions for how to fix it.
