Hi I wonder if anyone can assist , a friend of mines solar system is tripping his earth leakage when the battery discharges to 30% and changes overs to Eskom grid . Could it be a faulty earth leakage , anyone experience this before ? Thank you .

Hi I seem to be having a similar relay in my DB , what confuses me is the inputs and output . There seems to be 2 inputs at the top but only 1 output at the bottom . I understand the concept behind the relay , its just the wiring . Can anyone explain the wiring / provide a diagram as to how this load control unit is wired please .

Hi TaliaB I keep the 40% SOC in case of LS and another reason is that I live in an area where the grid is so unstable due to cable theft and unplanned outages especially at night . But i will probably adjust it 20% SOC due to no LS . Thanks .

Hi Bobster Thanks , yes i have set it to keep SOC at 40% just in case of the dreaded LS .

Thanks Steve , how do you determine that the inverter is seeing both batteries ? Both batteries SOC are the same , according to the battery LED's . Will however do the test with 1 battery at a time .

Hi Scorp007 The SOC remains at 40% . The battery power drops to 0 as the grid kicks in . Settings posted in previous posts . Thanks

This is the usage graph from this morning 12am . Do you think 2 X 100Ah batteries can drain like this ?

Hi I recently purchased a 8Kw Sunsynk inverter with 2 X Hubble AM2 batteries . Does the inverter see 2 batteries as one ? I have set the communication cables between batteries and inverter , using the supplied CAN cable from CAN port to master battery and used the supplied cable that came with the batteries ( normal RJ45 grey cable ) to connect the 2 batteries together battery link port . Dip switch setting on 1st battery is 1 on all others off and 2nd battery 1 off 2 on and all others off . Are my settings correct ? Seems like the inverter is seeing only 1 x battery . After a 100% SOC this morning the battery SOC is 40% .
