  1. Just in case anyone else hits this :-) Seeems this model isn't compatible with 3.1 of the firmware, downgraded back to 3.0 and everything working fine. Oh and another tip is that it does not work with 3.0.38 of batteryview make sure you use 3.0.37 Simple right ;-) Again huge thanks to the forum members here, thanks for sharing and helping..! Matt
  2. Thanks very much @Tinbum..! :-)
  3. Firmware update on new US3000C. Wondering if anyone else has hit this. I used the files from effekta which mean using the update tool 1.0.10 (not battery view) and pointing to the zip. In the log it gave an error "Fail to write bar code" If I try to access from BatteryView I need to get a pop up wanting the barcode manually entered. Which I can do and get the stats. However the barcode is empty. Interestingly if I connect via serial cable and run info 1 then it actually shows the barcode...??? and the firmware version. I note the battery serial 8&9 digit is C1 which is odd right..? Should be old chip based on that but it came with version 3.0 and choose V3.1 (not the 2.5 new chip) ==================== Upgrade log 26-02-05 18:21:57->Connecting... 26-02-05 18:21:58->Connect timeout 26-02-05 18:22:26->Connecting... 26-02-05 18:22:32-> address:1 device name:US3000C barcode:Y240927C1xxxxx specification:48V/74AH cell number:15 26-02-05 18:22:32->Connected. 26-02-05 18:23:59->The bin file used to update the current device is: US_C_V3.1_Crc.bin 26-02-05 18:24:07->The update program starts, file is transfering... 26-02-05 18:25:21->The bin file is programmed completely. 26-02-05 18:25:25->Connected to device after update 26-02-05 18:25:25->Fail to write bar code 26-02-05 18:25:27-> address:1 device name:US3000C barcode:Y240927C1xxxxx specification:48V/74AH cell number:15 26-02-05 18:25:27->Update is finished =================== Info info 1 @ Device address : 1 Manufacturer : Pylon Device name : US3000C Board version : V10R04 Main Soft version : B68.11.0.0 Soft version : V3.1 Boot version : V2.1 Comm version : V2.0 Release Date : 25-05-30 Barcode : Y240927C1xxxxx Device Test Time : 2000-00-00 00:00:00 Specification : 48V/74AH Cell Number : 15 Max Dischg Curr : -90000mA Max Charge Curr : 90000mA EPONPort rate : 1200 Console Port rate : 115200 Last Idle Days : 966 Max Idle Days : 966 Command completed successfully =============== Working battery (not updated) Device address : 1 Manufacturer : Pylon Device name : US3000C Board version : V10R04 Main Soft version : B68.8.0.0 Soft version : V3.0 Boot version : V2.1 Comm version : V2.0 Release Date : 24-07-25 Barcode : Y240927C1xxxxx Specification : 48V/74AH Cell Number : 15 Max Dischg Curr : -90000mA Max Charge Curr : 90000mA EPONPort rate : 1200 Console Port rate : 115200 Command completed successfully
  4. Just wanted to say thanks very much, particularly to @Youda We are off grid so totally dependant on the system working. We bought 3 new US3000C to add to our existing 12 and felt it was wise to get them all updated particularly with the overvoltage issues. Follow the guides and all went well. Having both files in the zip really does make it "idiot proof". So thanks for the awesome resource and sharing. 🙂
