  1. Thanks
I upgraded via computer I used the cable that came with the inverter With COM to USB converter It
is not recommended to use OTG, as the ones used in mobile phones are not compatible with inverters
You need to read the entire post here and the recommendations for successful work To note, there is no specialized technician to fix the upgrade defect because they do not understand it If you have any problems, disconnect the power supply from the inverter button, then the battery, and try again when the inverter starts to take off, and you will succeed. Of course, using a computer Good luck

You can refer to another post of mine where I attached the latest communication protocol I'm aware of. It might be of a big help for your project. Additionally, you can find other documents using the search tool and the files section as @Coulomb just stated two posts before this post.
    My other post link: https://powerforum.co.za/topic/19010-voltronic-axpert-vm-iii-twin-4kw/?do=findComment&comment=205780

From my perspective as a Software Engineer, I'd always recommend using the latest available firmware.
I'd never expect any good enough or valid information from these amateur teams!

Oh, this is not good news Because sometimes we have to change the settings of WashPower for ease of use Especially factory reset Not available on this model And also when entering the public network I adjust the battery charge value to operate AC2 without waiting for the battery voltage to rise, and it is faster through the application than entering the settings from the device To note, I encounter this problem sometimes in version 25.08 and I have to do a factory reset and redefine the Wi-Fi . Has he tried it?
  5. Thanks
    Hi all,
I talked to @mhd_murad and he had a problem with MCU firmware 25.12 in saving settings. He can change and save the settings by only using WatchPower, but directly from the display it won't save the changes, so he rolled back to 25.08
  6. Thanks
I very much appreciate your understanding. I wish you a happy day.
  7. Thanks
Exactly, you're right on track! I Wish you good luck with this. I understand that it's very confusing at the beginning, but once you do it the first time it becomes an easy task.
  8. Thanks
Thank you very much for this review
But I'm still confused. I'll quote from the two pictures I have so I don't make a mistake
So I will attach a picture to clarify the matter
I want to upgrade the version shown with the red arrow ..I have to click where the green arrow is
    Am I right or wrong?

  9. Thanks
Sorry, but you totally forgot to include the link
Exactly! Totally on point, I was going to tell him the same thing, but you were quicker than me.
Sorry for the confusion, I should have included the link for DSP and MCU reflash instructions posted by Coulomb since the beginning, to provide you with all the details you needed so you didn't need to ask for more details each time. It just came to my attention that I didn't include the link in the first post of this thread too, so I just included it now.
Here's the link for your convenience:

  10. Thanks
25.12 is a display / mcu / secondary firmware, so you click on "update MCU".
As far as I know, you should never press the bottom button. It looks like they wanted to merge the DSP and MCU reflash tools into one, but they never finished it.
  11. Thanks
    Yes, this post:
You can "go backwards" in firmware revision, as long as the inverter isn't "bricked". Even if it appears to be bricked (unresponsive), it's usually possible to recover.
I don't believe that you will have want or need to go back to 25.08, but at least it's a known quantity that you can go back to if needed.
Don't be; it's all very confusing until you get used to it.
  12. Thanks
    Don't worry man, you're good!
You can't really return to the exact stock firmware that came with the device, as it is (not possible) to extract it or make a backup of it. However, you can reflash the very same firmware version and it should be all good and no differences.
As a general rule, you can always reflash whatever firmware version you like, as long as it is exactly for your device's model. There are no version restrictions when it comes to reflashing a firmware.
You can use the search feature in this forum to find other MCU firmware versions. There are a lot of options if anything would go wrong for you, and I guess you'll find the exact version or a very close one at least. Just always make sure you know what you're searching for!
  13. Thanks
thank you very much But for sure you mean the version 25.12 he secondary cpu firmware version Is the upgrade done using the same application? ups reflash tools Or is there another tool for this upgrade? Finally, I am attaching a picture of my Inverter I apologize very much for the many questions But I'm a beginner and I'm upgrading for the first time greetings to you all

  14. Thanks
    @mohamed.kh
According to your current firmware versions and the aforementioned inverter model (VM III Twin)...
You might want to test one of the three recent DSP firmware. Versions 60.89, 60.95, or 68.04. They're all attached in this thread in different posts with some basic first impression of testers about each of them, as they're not very much tested, yet.
As for the MCU (display) firmware, the latest firmware I'm aware of is 25.12, and is also attached in this thread.
