Communication lost when charging from grid and Ac voltage on battery terminals
I added a 10 k resistor and the voltage dropped to 1.4 V. So, indeed, it’s an inductive voltage. I also put a ferrite clamp on the communication cable, near the inverter, but issue is still there.

Communication lost when charging from grid and Ac voltage on battery terminals
It's a pity that, because switching between countries, I don't have that much time debugging this issue. Because I am helped by someone who's in electronics, his therory is that there may be a switching ripple, which is normal for an inverter when converting from AC to DC. But, because of that AC voltage measured between battery terminal and grounding, a small current is sent from inverter, through batery and BMS then through communication cable back to inverter. And this can screw the RS485 communication. When I'll get back home, I'll use a Wvashare optoisolator rs485 hub to see if something good comes from this. And also some ferrite clamps, to see what they can do.

What Hmmm, how this would solve my issue? I know this fix for display issues for SV4 but for SMG ÎI, I have no idea.- Easun SMG II 11 kw voltage calibration
Thanks for your reply. I see the post is for Voltronic inverters. SMG II is built by Sumry. Besides I have no idea if those commands will work, I don’t even have a pc application to issue those commands. I asked for one but Easun invoked things like it’s a service application only, technology secrets🙂.- Communication lost when charging from grid and Ac voltage on battery terminals
I’ll try in few weeks when I get back home and I’ll come with the results. Thanks.

Anyone any idea?- Communication lost when charging from grid and Ac voltage on battery terminals
Hello. I have a Easun SMG II 11 kw and I encounter a strange issue. When I charge the battery from grid with 20 A the communication between battery and inverter is lost. The same is happening if I lower to 10 A but the loss is happening after many minutes of charging. In the same time, when I measure with the multimeter with one probe on one of battery terminals and another on grounding and set on AC, I see a voltage of 25 V, which in theory should not see, because of galvanic isolation. What can be the cause/ explanation and what solution I have to these issues, which may be related?- JK BMS with communication doesn’t respect bulk voltage
Hello all. As title says, I have a strange situation with a JK bms. The setup is this: a jk bms PB version v15, an Easun SMG II 11 kw. Li2 protocol set up in inverter and Pylontech 9600 set up in bms. My RCV is set up to 3.45 v, corresponding with 55.2 v pack(16S). However, the inverter is charging the battery until 56.8v. I don’t understand why it charges until this voltage, as long as the target bulk voltage is 55.2v, which is also seen in inverter’s screen. Can someone help me with this? I’m attaching also my bms settings . Thanks.- Easun SMG II 11 kw voltage calibration
I also don’t bother too much, currently I have set it up using user settings, but I need to set up the voltage in inverter to 54.9 v to correspond with 55.2 v in the battery. Unless I am able to set up the proper communication between inverter and bms, in this case it should read the voltage from bms and voila, problem solved. Currently, from time to time, the communication is lost for few seconds.- Easun SMG II 11 kw voltage calibration
No one has any idea?- Easun SMG II 11 kw voltage calibration
Hi all. I have an inverter, the one mentioned in the post title(built by Sumry, the newest with parallel capability), and I noticed that the battery voltage displayed in the screen is different than the one indicated by BMS(55.2v displayed in bms vs 54.9v in inverter). This measurement was done with no loads. Is there any possibility to calibrate the voltage in this inverter? Thanks. - Communication lost when charging from grid and Ac voltage on battery terminals
