  2. Do the positive and negative cables from the battery to the inverter need to be the same length?

    Interesting discussion, also thanks for sharing the documents! I arrived here on my search for answers on cable lengths for my battery setup where i have 8x6v batteries for a 48v setup. I can't place them all together and need to create 2 groups of 2x6v plus 1 group of 4x6v. Between each group about 2 meters. My thinking was to increase the thickness of the long cables to create the same R between all batteries. Worth it or nonsense or should I avoid this separation of batteries at all cost. Any thoughts on this? Thanks! Elwin
